PhD Panel on „Postcolonialism and Human Rights: Migration and Expulsion from Europe”

Since 2015, the politicisation of migration has intensified in the European Union. Several member states have seen a rise in political parties demanding border securitisation to prevent unwanted arrivals, while human rights observers are documenting systematic expulsions and other human rights violations against people on the move.
