Understanding and Mitigating Bystander Apathy in Cyberbullying on Social Networking Sites: A New Direction to Halt Cyberbullying Among Young People

The prevalence and adverse consequences of cyberbullying among young people in the UK have been widely reported and documented. 46% of the respondents said they had been bullied for more than one time on social media. The problem is deteriorating with the growing dependency of digital technology in the COVID pandemic—where online learning and socialization have become mainstream.
